How's your mental health? Mine has felt like it's been on a roller coaster during COVID. Some days are good; some days are hard, some days are so so. Working out with Ty Renner has been one of the bright spots during the pandemic. I've been training with him outdoors religiously every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My abs may not look like his, but my mood, my confidence, and my energy levels are all on the rise.

We gathered at the 16th Street Lifeguard Tower in Hermosa Beach for an early morning sweat sesh. Ty led us in a group beach workout, which challenged our core, cardio, and endurance. Beach workouts are no joke. I may have taken a sandbox home with me in my shoe, but I had a blast. So did Carole Baskin, wink wink.
After the workout, we hydrated with White Claw and enjoyed some camaraderie with six feet in between.
