Our energy is based upon our mood. Our life is curated through energy. We can curate from the third dimension, but we can create from the fifth dimension. According to Cathy Heller, we can sometimes make things more complicated than they need to be.

Cathy discusses expectations and the circumstances of becoming attached to an outcome. You feel as though you need "this thing" and become fixated on attaining it. When you let go, whether you realize it or not, you put yourself in an abundant mindset. There is magic everywhere, but when we're operating from fear, shame, or doubt, we're unable to see it. We must get connected with the fifth dimension.

Cathy shares an unbelievable story, one that spoke to my soul. The story is about Sheri Salata. To paraphrase, she had lost her corporate job and was working at the 711 to make ends meet. As she spent her days managing the convenience store and applying for jobs in her profession, advertising, she felt as if she'd hit rock bottom. She was overqualified for what she was doing and losing hope that better opportunities were on the horizon. She had her heart set on a job. She'd interviewed for it and thought she'd had it in the bag but unfortunately found out they went in a different direction. Sheri tried to change her attitude and focus on the positive.

One day, her phone rang. The woman on the other end said she had been cleaning out a storage closet and found Sheri's resume. She said they were looking for a Promotions Producer and was Sheri interested. She said yes even though it wasn't in advertising. That position was at Harpo Studios working with Oprah. Sheri got the job, quickly made a name for herself there, climbed the corporate ladder, and became the Executive Producer of the Oprah Windfew Show and Co-President of the OWN Network. She now understands why the job she had wanted so badly didn't select her—the universe had bigger plans.

Cathy says our uniqueness is our superpower. We need to figure out what that uniqueness is to hone in on it and live it out each and every day. She adds that the biggest regret people have when they're dying is that they did not live life on their terms. When you believe in magic, you will be lead to synchronicity.

She suggests four steps when trying to bring your uniqueness, passion, or gift to life as a business.

  1. Beta Testing

  2. Feedback

  3. Offer

  4. Scale

The last thing she touched on is hugely important for all of us to notate and remember. She said joy is the scariest emotion. Nine out of ten people surrender to the joy within three to four seconds because fear sets in. The only way to overcome this is through gratitude.

If you'd like to participate in the homework assignment for Day Three, complete the following:

  1. Picture yourself living in your future talking to a friend and telling her how happy you are. What do you see yourself doing and how does that make you feel?

  2. What business or brands do you love and what would you do differently if it were your business? Any changes you would make?

  3. If you were going to beta test giving something away for free what would that be? A free hour of organizing services? A vegan cherry pie?

  4. Do you have an example of something that’s happened in your life through synchronicity?

  5. What’s your biggest takeaway from Day Three?

Here’s my homework:

  1. I see myself animated, flailing my hands. I'm so excited to share with my friend how well the You're Such a Catch brand is doing. I'm podcasting, hosting live events, helping women manifest their dream man, job, the family they've always dreamt of. My book is about to be released. I'm over the moon ecstatic.

  1. I love Bravo, the Chargers, Patrón, and LaCroix. I would do more interactive activities with fans. I love that LaCroix reposts pictures on their Instagram. Bravo has included fans on their Zoom, live events. I'd take it a step further and create experiences. People remember experiences.

  2. I've been beta testing with my greeting card line, From Pod To Paper. I've allowed people to try out my cards and send them to a loved one, to spice up their love life or let someone special know they were thinking of them and made an effort to express their gratitude in their handwriting.

  3. Yes. I went to my friend's event to show her support. She had just come back from Mexico. A mutual friend of ours lost her husband unexpectedly. At this event, I sat down and waited for her at a table. My friend was sending people my way, saying, "Go sit with Erin until I'm done. She's good people." Long story even longer, one of the people who came to sit with me owns a well-known purse brand. It's her line. She, too, had just returned from Mexico, and in a moment of grieving, we shared stories. She, about what she had just went through. Me, about losing my job due to the pandemic. Both of us made an effort to call out a silver lining. She asked for my number. I plugged it into her phone. About fifteen minutes later, she said, check your phone, I sent you a text. Her message said she wanted to sponsor a greeting card order of $500 in a local store in Los Angeles. She said she knew what it was like to be in my shoes, just getting started and wanted to pay it forward. I, of course, cried.

  4. I've been digging Cathy's storytelling. The stories she's sharing are so powerful, and as she said, proof, it can be done. When you believe in magic, you will be led to synchronicities.
